Invest in the Property Market of Ghana
By Danny Know of Opmax Thailand, SEO Bangkok
Ghana's property market is a direct reflection of the state of the West African nation itself in that it is rising, developing, has enormous potential but is limited by major elemental issues in relation to issues like poor land title registration transparency and absence of affordable home financing solutions domestically. Current Issues Facing Ghana's Property Market the present issues facing Ghana's property market include the indisputable fact that those purchasing resale land and property frequently buy litigation instead of land title because there is no decent system in place for the registration of title deeds and transfers and as the conveyancing system lacks transparency. As well as this the level of tourism growth in Ghana isn't acceptable for the tourism economy to become an attractive sector for foreign direct investment now. Similarly there are issues in the main towns with homelessness and even those with a need to own their own houses and who have a decent income with which to afford a mortgage have limited and limited access to mortgages in Ghana. Efforts In progress to enhance the property Marketplace in Ghana this regime in Ghana inherited the situation as detailed above but are one hundred percent targeted on changing these issues and developing a country of middle revenue home owners. To that end they have started many programs and schemes like a program to draw in bigger foreign direct investment. In 2007 a new program to register each house on each street in Ghana will get in progress to start solving the land title issues and on the tourism side of things the Ghana Visitor Board has been active under the Acting Executive Director Martin Mireku. So far Mr Mireku has brought Delta Airlines and northern US Airlines to Ghana with multiple direct flights between Accra ( the capital of Ghana ) and the likes of Manhattan each week and there's a powerful campaign underway for these airlines and other world tourism delegates with interests in Ghana to push the attractiveness and potential of the state to the wider world. The Tourism Potential in Ghana Tourism in Ghana currently contributes up to eight. 9% of the complete country's workforce ; going forward it is expected the travel and tourism sector will grow by about four. Nine 5% annually from 2007, except for the Ghanaian state that is not enough. In an attempt to raise the awareness of the country they have brought in world airlines as stated, they have also liberalised their aviation policy as a result and ongoing they are determined this sector will push the economy in a sustainable way over the long run. A stockholder wants to realise that when tourism comes in earnest to Ghana there'll be multiple layers of opportunity because it's a country loaded in natural wonders, pleasures and beauty from untouched and pristine beaches to an interior full of exotic and dazzling fauna in abundance, and there are just not the facilities for world visitors to experience and enjoy such pleasures safely and nicely. This represents big investment opportunity. The other area a backer can inspect from 2007 onwards is the issue of the provision of reasonable housing to Ghanaians. |
